Sunday Save Your A$$ Parlay: 2023 Wells Fargo Championship
What’s up, Addicts?
What can I say? The 2023 Wells Fargo Championship has not been what we’ve predicted thus far. Saturday saw six golfers shoot 5-under or better, and for the first time since the 2014-2015 season, we could see a golfer hit -20 on the week. Rory, Tony, Cantlay, and Spieth, all of whom were at the top of the betting board pre-tourney are nowhere to be found heading into Sunday. Conditions are expected to be the same on Day 4 so to save our keisters this Sunday, we will need to be BOLD!
Wells Fargo Saturday Shootout
Wyndham Clark and Xander Schauffele are currently at the top of the leaderboard, and both put on a fireworks display Saturday. We all know Xander is amongst the game’s elites, and we expect him to contend on Sundays. Clark has silently been one of the game’s best ball strikers this season and has been knocking on the door. In addition, his confidence is at an all-time high after shooting at 63 and gaining ground in the final group on Saturday. If you stumbled across The Mexico Open Sunday Parlay, you now know the game plan. Desperate times call for desperate measures and I’m feeling bullish on a few picks for the final day.

Finishing Position Picks to Parlay
Outright Winner: Xander Schaufele (+150 DraftKings)
Xander has been playing elite golf for weeks and in addition to being top 5 in both Ball Striking and Putting this week, over his last 24 rounds, he is 2nd in Approach and top 10 Tee-to-Green.
He is currently sitting two strokes behind Clark on a difficult golf course. Xander is dialed in throughout the bag and the mental game is there. I am going to bet that in the final group, the chasers put too much pressure on Clark and he gives up the lead on Sunday to the X-Man.
Top 10: Viktor Hovland (+165 DraftKings)
Slick Vik was on many betting cards this week (mine included). Round 1 was mediocre at best for Hovland, but the Norwegian kicked it into gear the past two days, capping off Saturday with a 66.
It might be too late for him to win the tournament, but Viktor and the rest of the field will be shooting it out for big-time prize money in the designated event format. Ball-striking aside, Hovland has been impressive around the greens and on sand saves, both of which he historically has had trouble with. Fire up Viktor to drain some putts and surge up the leaderboard as a chaser.
The Wells Fargo Sunday Parlay: +562 on DraftKings
What a weekend for sports. The NBA and NHL playoffs have been wild, the Kentucky Derby never disappoints, and the UFC 288 card was explosive. I expect the same to continue Sunday as the PGA TOUR wraps up the Wells Fargo. Xander looks primed to win so crack open your drink of choice and step into an awesome Sunday Funday Sweat.
