Women's British Open 2021 Betting Picks
Well the streak of winners came to an end as Atthaya Thitikul finished second. Ryann O’toole put on an absolute clinic on Sunday. Fairway after fairway. Green after green. She fired an eight under 64. The scariest part of that round is she didn’t even putt the ball as well as she could, leaving a couple of birdie looks short.
It could have turned the round from special into extraordinary. Though what she did accomplish allowed her to pick up her first LPGA win after 11 years and 228 starts. It’s really great to see a decade plus of grinding pay off for someone that truly deserved it. She'll look to keep the high going into the last major championship of the year.
CarNASTY. For the last major of the year we head to Carnoustie Golf Links. Last time we saw this place on a tour, Francesco Molinari was lifting the Claret Jug. As with that tournament, outside of the elite golfers, look for the accurate drivers of the ball and good around the green short game experts. Remember, you need to check the weather with these links style tracks to see if any wave advantages arise. Weather played a major role last week at the Scottish. Other than that, the most important thing to remember this week is…whoever golfs their ball better than the field will have the best chance to win.

25/1 & lowerÂ
Lydia Ko - 12/1 (DK $10800)
Last time I wrote Lydia up after she had a scorching Sunday to finish second as the the leader ran away. I like my random trends let’s see if this one hold up.Â
Atthaya Thitikul - 16/1 (DK $10500)
Yet another close call with victory. This is a train I’ll stay on until she wins. Which should be relatively soon.
25/1-70/1
Yealimi Noh - 33/1 (DK $8800)Â
I won’t stop putting Noh in this article either until she wins. Might feel a bit like chasing but I think she’s close. Made a mistake by leaving O’Toole off feeling the same. Won’t happen again.
Jessica Korda - 55/1 (DK $8400)
Big number for big sister. Jessica turned the burners on Sunday at the Olympics firing off a 64. Normally I wouldn’t say watching someone win would add crazy amounts of extra motivation but when it’s your sister and best friend there’s got to be. Especially after an Olympic gold medal.
Ally Ewing - 55/1 (DK $7800)
Another player that absolutely shot the lights out on Sunday matching Ko’s 63. Has a nice record at British Opens to her name as well.
Long Shots
Ryann O’Toole - 75/1 (DK $7700)
She dialed tf in right now and it wasn’t just a pop up performance last week. Is there worry after her just getting the first career win? Of course. Even if she can just carry over a smidge of what she showed. This number seems just too big from an eye test last week.Â
Ashleigh Buhai - 100/1 (DK $7200)
Buhai has been playing some pretty darn good golf the last two events. A second to Alison Lee’s win and a twelfth after taking a peak near the top of the leaderboard.
