LOTTE Championship 2021 Betting Picks

Now that the break in schedule for The Masters is over. We are back! At the ANA we saw Patty Tavatanakit absolutely run away with her first major championship (Hello world?). The only person to even come close was Lydia Ko who’s Sunday charge was an absolute treat to watch.

Now we move on from Rancho Mirage,CA to Kapolei, HI where we will see back to back winner Brooke Henderson tee it up for a chance at the three peat. EXCEPT for the first time in nearly a decade we are switching venues for the event.

Kapolei Golf Club will host this week's edition. The site of the Hawaiian Open from 1996-2001 where the winning score ranged from -4 to -12. The Par 72 playing around 6400 Yards has water in play on what looks to be half the holes. Avoid that, play better golf than your competition and you should have a real chance.

25/1 & lower

Lydia Ko- 11/1 (DK Sportsbook)

After saying I’d write her up every week I didn't and she was the person to give Patty a run (if you wanna call it that) for the win at the ANA. going to stay true to my word this week so here we go look for her to crash and burn this week as I am backing her.

25/1-75/1

Moriya Jutanugarn- 50/1 (PointsBet)

In her second start of 2021 Moriya finished in a tie for 10th last week after missing the cut at the Kia. Noticeable here is she is 17 points higher than the 33/1 on Dk. I’ll take that and roll the dice. She's back in form after the lay off.

Gabriela Ruffels-70/1 (PointsBet)

Another major, another Top 20. This is how Gabi has been rolling to start her career. Let's take a chance and hope that transfers over to non majors. The Australian will be a winner on the LPGA it's just a matter of when

Long Shots

Leona Maguire 100/1 (PointsBet)

Leona was hanging around the leaderboard until she fell back to 28th. 100/1 on someone that was just competing in a major on a tough course is more than enough for me to take a bite.

Ryann O’Toole- 200/1 (PointsBet)

Ryann has been progressively finishing better in each of her last three starts leading to a 19th place finish at the ANA. Top 50 on the LPGA in both GIR and Putting. I’ll channel my inner DB and take the longshot chances on her and my next pick

Nicole Broch Larsen - 250/1 (DK Sports Book)

The world 95 has only missed three cuts since the start of 2020 all at major championships. A top 30 putter on the LPGA. This may be more of a Draftkings play but that consistency at this number is good enough for me.

Marcus’ Unadvisable Doubles
