The 2024 Sentry Tournament of Champions Betting Favorite Cross Sport Parlay
What’s up, Golf Addicts?
Welcome to 2024! After a few months of scraping the bottom of the barrel, the PGA Season ramps up at this year’s Sentry Tournament of Champions. The Plantation Course at Kapalua will host the PGA Tour’s best this week and you should expect the usual fireworks. The course always plays like a bomber’s paradise and the players will need to shoot low rounds all week to be in contention on Sunday. Let’s check out this week’s favorites on the betting board to see who’s worth the Juice.

THE PGA Tour is Back at Kapalua
2023 was one of the best ball-striking years in golf history for Scottie Scheffler. He comes into this tournament as the odds on favorite and we all can expect more of the same. Scottie has been working on his putting during the break and if that translates just a bit, we can expect a massive season from the world number 1.
Viktor Hovland, fresh off a FedEx Cup title has big aspirations this year and his all-around game is quickly becoming one of the best in the world. Patrick Cantlay, Collin Morikawa, and sophomore sensation Ludvig Aberg round out the top of the betting board. This week I’m targeting a golfer who has performed in big spots throughout his career, has plenty of experience around Kapalua, and can score with the best in the world.
OUR OUTRIGHT FAVORITE FOR THE Sentry TOC
Xander Wins Again in Hawaii
This week at Kapalua, I’m taking Xander Schauffele to win and start a red-hot season. This is a tough tournament to handicap with recent form not having much of an impact. Some golfers do play in the fall and that helps but overall, I look at long term metrics and course experience. Xander won this event in 2019 and has been in the tournament every year since, despite last year’s withdrawal.
Over his last 50 rounds, the X man is top 10 in the field in ball-striking. Of those players, he is the only one in the top-10 in putting. At Kapalua, in 20 rounds, he leads the field in SG: Off the Tee and is top 5 in ball-striking and putting. He also smashes at this course and is ranked 6th in Driving Distance and hits greens at a top 10 rate as well. He will be comfortable this week at a course he excels at and will push the leaderboard for his first win of the year.

Cross Sport Pick to Parlay
This week’s juice takes us to South Beach where the Bills Mafia is storming the Sunshine State looking to snatch the AFC East from the Dolphins. Both teams come into this game with a lot to gain. The Dolphins were just decimated by the Ravens and the Bills have been clawing back into the playoff race with four straight wins. While the Bills are getting healthier, the Dolphins have seen their injuries increase in recent weeks. Tua was banged up last week and Bradley Chubb was lost for the season. In addition, the team could be without playmakers Jaylen Waddle and Raheem Mostert.
Buffalo comes into this game on fire with recent wins against Kansas City and Dallas. Their offense has also gained steam under newly minted offensive coordinator Joe Brady. I like Buffalo to come into Miami this week and "Squish the Fish." Expect Josh Allen to crank up the play-action as Miami has not been able to defend it well. Also, I love Ed Oliver to put consistent pressure on Tua up the middle against a back-up center and create some fits for the Dolphins. Daquan Jones is in his second game back from Injured Reserve and Oliver saw his highest grade of the season with his teammate back on the field. I’m taking the Buffalo Bills to win outright this week down in Miami.

The Juice of the Week: +2314 on Fanduel
With college football just about in the rear-view mirror and the NFL winding down, golf is back on the main stage. This week we get a signature event with a ton of money on the line and some of the worlds best attempting to solidify their place for the major season. The Bills should have their way with a depleted Dolphins team this week so fire them up to add some major juice onto a Xander Schaufele victory in Hawaii! (1 Unit to win 23 units).
