The 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am Betting Favorite Juiced Up Parlay
What’s up, Golf Maniacs,
In this article, we pick favorites. After four weeks of longshots winning, we are due! It is officially Pebble Week and we have our second signature, no cut event of the season. The 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro AM will be a bit different than in past years. The amateurs will only play the first two days, and the Monterey Peninsula course will be removed from the rotation. Tour Junkie’s own DB, gave us a course breakdown this week, of both Pebble and Spyglass. Both courses will be featured on Thursday and Friday this week. The course will be cold and wet this week and the weather touts expect massive gusts on Sunday, which could make things interesting if there isn’t a delay. Let’s check out the top of the betting board for this week’s tournament.

A New Look at Pebble Beach
A signature event at Pebble means that most of the studs will be in attendance. Scottie and Rory come into the week as the odds-on favorites. Both don’t have much experience at the course but Rory top-10’d at the 2019 US Open and both golfers’ games translate to most courses. Xander Schauffele is an interesting name with shorter odds this week. The Cali native has been trending but the putter hasn’t been right, costing him a potential win at Torrey last week.
We all know what Jordan Spieth has done here during his career. The past winner comes in with solid form, but in a much more loaded field, can he fight off the heavy hitters? Patrick Cantlay will get his fair share of slow play this week with the amateurs onsite. Cantlay has put solid rounds together here but just hasn’t been able to close. Finally, Max Homa is in attendance and always performs well in his home state. Homa surged on Sunday at Torrey but it wasn’t enough. This week I’m targeting one of the world’s best whose game travels and has the wedges to that can put you over the top at this course.
OUR OUTRIGHT FAVORITE FOR THE AT&T Pebble beach
World Number 1 Ends the Longshot Streak
After 4 weeks of mega bombs ruining our wallets, it’s time for one of the favorites to cash. This week I’m backing Scottie Scheffler. Scottie has begun 2024 with the same elite ball-striking we saw all of last season. Scottie leads the field in approach over his last 36 rounds and his proximity numbers from 75-150 yards are elite as well. The world number 1 is top-10 in the field in birdie or better percentage in addition to bogey avoidance which gets critical when dealing with the small greens of Pebble Beach.
Two factors separate Scottie from the field this week. His game around the greens is world class. His wedges will carry him to easy pars on the tougher holes when he misses greens. We’ve seen in his wins over the past few years, he’s always good for a chip in followed by a Ted Scott celebration. While some might point to his putting woes, the hairy Poa greens at Pebble might be a bit of an equalizer for him this week. If he can putt even or better, its going to be tough for the field to keep up. Fire up Scottie Scheffler to take home the cash and kick off a massive stretch of golf. Now Let’s Go Juicin!
Best Odds for Scottie Scheffler to Win: +900 on DraftKings
Top-20 Pick to Parlay
We’re changing it up for this week’s juice. We’re staying at Pebble and adding in a boring but juicy top-20 bet for this week’s parlay. If we’re going with a boring top-20, who better than Brendon Todd, the Toddfather, to add as our pick. Todd is mister consistent when it comes to hitting fairways and has an elite short game which should bode well for him this week. Over his last 24 rounds, his proximity numbers from 75-125 yards are top-5 in the field. In addition, he is top-10 in bogey avoidance and is better than average in par-5 scoring. The Georgia Bulldog hasn’t finished worse than 33rd since the start of September and I expect that trend to continue this week. There are some juicy odds for top-20’s out there so this was a no brainer for me. Todd’s irons and wedges will be dialed in this week and we know he can drain putts.
Best Odds for Brendon Todd to Top-20: +260 on Fanduel
The Juice of the Week: +3500 on DraftKings
With the big game being next week, the juices are already flowing on some props to fire on. Until then, while we lean into a life without football, consistency will be king and it doesn't get much better than Scottie and the Toddfather in that department. Hammer Scheffler to win and Todd to top-20 at this week's AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am (1 Unit to win 35 units).
