The 2024 Masters Betting Favorite Juiced Up Parlay
What’s Up, TJ Gang?
The Masters is here and the world’s best golfers have arrived in Augusta to battle it out for this year’s green jacket. Our Augusta native founder and former ANGC caddie, DB, killed it this week with a course preview detailing the course, trends, and even his favorite concessions. The weather looks fantastic outside of some potential rain Thursday. You better believe Augusta National will have this course playing exactly to expectations. You know the deal by now, We choose a betting favorite for the tournament and parlay it to get that final number more desirable.  Let’s check out the betting board!

The Field is Stacked at Augusta National Golf Club
The PGA Tour, LIV Tour, DP World Tour….All The Tours will be in attendance this week! As usual, Scottie will be the favorite this year. He’s on an absolute tear. Rory and Rahm come into the week at +1100 odds, both playing solidly, but with questions. Xander Schauffele, fresh off his 2nd place finish at The Players and a Top-5 at the Valspar comes in with a lot of steam as well.
Rounding out the favorites this week are former green jacket winners Jordan Spieth and Hideki Matsuyama along with Big Game Brooksie. You can make a case for all these guys but this week we aren’t taking the bait…..
OUR OUTRIGHT FAVORITE FOR THE 2024 Masters
Scottie Takes Home His Second Green Jacket
Ladies and Gentleman, your 2024 Masters Champion will be Scottie Scheffler. The guy is on a rampage. Two wins and a 2nd place finish in his last 3 starts along with a slew of top-5’s and 10’s this year, Scottie comes into Augusta arguably in better form than during his win two years ago. We haven’t seen a favorite with this low of odds in the Masters since Tiger in 2013 and he seems to be on a mission to win everything this season. Its become so easy for the Texan that caddie Teddy Scott has been playing side games with him on the course to keep his player on point.
Scottie’s numbers have been outrageous this season. In his last 24 rounds, he’s 2nd in the field off the tee, first in strokes gained approach, and 6th from the critical distance of 175-240 yards. Hes also been 10th in the field around the green and it has become almost a certainty to see him chip in or hole out once or twice a tournament from inside 50 yards. What’s been most dangerous is that during that span, he’s also gaining strokes with the putter, something he hasn’t done as well over the last two years. Finally, the most important state this week…Strokes Gained Beard! Bearded Scottie is lethal and he’s grown the facial threads back purely for intimidation. Fire up Scottie as your winner of the Masters and his second green jacket. Now Let’s Go Juicin!

Finishing Position Picks to Parlay
We are staying in Augusta for this week’s juice. I love two additional Masters bets to get our number on Scottie up! The first is our boy Tony Finau to top-10 at the event! Tony comes into the week fresh off a 2nd place finish in Houston and fantastic tee-to-green play all season. Tony has a solid course history at Augusta, making the cut in five straight appearances. He also has a top-5 and top-10 finish during that time. Tony’s irons and around the green play fair well at this course as we’ve seen shaky putters win here in the past (see Sergio, Deki, and Bubba). Lock Tony in for a top-10 finish.
Finally, no one in the field has more recent and elite experience at Augusta than John Rahm. Although his performance on the LIV Tour hasn’t been what we are used to out of the Spaniard, his history here speaks for itself. The reigning champ has four top-10’s and a win in his last five appearances. There is arguably no better wedge player at the course in the field and his approach numbers are second in the field over his last 24 rounds. Rahmbo is coming into the tournament with the LIV chip on his shoulder and I expect another elite performance this year. I love his top-20 upside and with no dead-heat rules, this one is a no-brainer to add to the parlay. Hammer Tony Finau to top-10 and John Rahm to top-20 this year at the Masters!
