LPGA DraftKings Picks and Bets for the Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio 2022

Well, if you have read this LPGA article at least a handful of times you will know that we have an affinity for picking the golfer that finishes in 2nd. This season appears to be no different to start with our Brooke Henderson write up last week. Oh well. Danielle Kang was the one this time to hand us that defeat. Starting the day one back of Nelly she then went out and posted a clutch 68 with 6 birdies on a day where scoring was at a premium to clinch the win by three strokes. 

This week we are in Boca Raton, Florida at Boca Rio Golf Club, the par 72 has hosted this tournament since 2020 after its move from Indianapolis.This is the place of Nelly’s “hello world” moment that catapulted her into the stratosphere last season. So it definitely has the potential to lead to a breakthrough or maybe a welcome back win? *evil grin*. With that in mind and doing my highly scientific quantitative analysis of this field. I'm leaning towards whoever golfs their ball better than the field will have the best chance to win.

Lexi Thompson - $9900 (12/1)

• Written up in a preview that was never made it out to the twitterverse. I think Lexi is primed and ready to break back into the victory circle quite a few times this year. Why not start here. T2 last year.

Patty Tavatanakit - $9500 (20/1)

• Has played here the last two seasons but never as the player she’s turned into over the past year. T5 last year. I expect better this year 

Atthaya Thitikul - $9300 - (20/1)

• Das wonder kid has made her way to America full time. Her climb ever further up the Rolex rankings starts now. 

$8k Range

Leonna Maguire - $8600 (40/1)

• Top 15 machine last season. T16 here last time here. She has done everything but sealed the victory. We’ll be on it when it happens. Hopefully that's this week.

Ayaka Furue - $8500 (40/1)

• The 14th ranked player in the world didn’t fare so well her first time in America. This time around she cruised through Q school and now has her tour card. This might be the biggest price we see her outside of majors as the season progresses.

$7k Range

Pajaree Anannarukarn - $7500 (70/1)

• Not quitting her now. She played damn well last week, let’s see if she can get us there once again. Will be. 

$6k Range

Wichanee Meechai - $6500 (250/1)

• If DB can hit Swafford at 250/1 why can’t we? Can’t be that hard.
