The PGA Tour remains in Sin City this week for the CJ Cup as the boys tee it up at Shadow Creek. We’d encourage you to start your research for the week right here with the 10 Key Stats we find critical to handicapping the field whether betting or playing DFS.
Shadow Creek is a resort style track par 72 playing around 7500 yards and featuring bentgrass green surfaces. The greens have some character to them with plenty of undulation and speed. Hitting your approach shots into the proper tiers of the greens will be the top priority to go low enough to contend this week. The course does sit at elevation with the ball flying about 5-7% farther according to our caddie friends. There are three gettable par 5s and a driveable par 4 for most of the field. Given the weather looks pretty benign, I think the winning score will be around -18 to -20.
