The Pivot Point Image

DraftKings Pivot Plays for the Byron Nelson 2021

We've scoured the DraftKings GPP ownership projections looking for the names that are setting up to be extremely popular in GPP tournaments. More importantly, I'm going to tell you about 2 other players with as much upside at significantly less projected ownership. Ownership leverage and equal or greater upside from the players we're pivoting away from is the name of the game every week for the Pivot Point article.

Popular DraftKings GPP Plays & Pivots

Wyndham Clark 7,000 8%

YUP! You know what week it is…It’s Wyndham Clark week. I'm looking for guys who hit it a long way and make a lot of putts or as I like to call it...Drive for Show and Putt for Dough. Clark has made three cuts in a row while being -10 in the strokes gained putting column. Fear not, Clark heads back west where he finds some bentgrass greens where he ranks 8th in this field in the last 100 rounds in SG: Putting. I'll be paying up for two studs this week and need some cheap guys with some scoring upside. This guy is going to win on Tour, it's just a matter of time.

Pat Perez $7,300 5%

As I stated above, I am living in the low 7k range this week. Pat Perez is coming off back to back top 30’s in two tough field events. Perez hasn’t locked up his tour card for 21’-22’ yet and will look to ride his good form to another good finish this week at TPC Craig Ranch. Perez isn’t going to pop in many models so I believe he comes in extremely low owned. He’s 13th in the field in the last 100 rounds putting on bentgrass. Perez may not have winning upside but I do think he has top 10 upside with a relatively safe floor which creates great value at $7,300.
